Sarah Palin Battle Hymn

These people want this to be the new anthem if Palin becomes President. I'm not kidding.

Rapper Gucci Mane Is Off His Rocker

Via avclub.com:
"Rapper Gucci Mane has been released from a mental hospital, where he's been resting ever since declaring himself mentally incompetent following his arrest for driving on the wrong side of the road and then punching a right in front of the cops. And to celebrate his newfound sanity, he got a tattoo of a triple-decker ice cream cone with lightning bolts shooting out of it right on his face. It also says, "Brrr" as a nod to his signature catchphrase-because, as he told RumorFix, ice cream is "icy," like Gucci Mane, and both will make you say,"Brrr." Added Mane, "It's just my life." That it is, Gucci Mane. That it is."

10 Questions With Zygi Wilf

I'd like to personally thank Vikings owner Zygi Wilf for taking the time for sitting down with me. Here's a transcript of our conversation.

Michael McGivern: Good morning Zygi! Tough season comes to a close yesterday. What was one positive thing that came out of the Vikings 50th season?

Zygi Wilf: ...

MM: All right, all right. How about a little easier question to start off. Do you regret not only bringing Brett Favre back, but giving him a several million dollar raise?

ZW: ...

MM: Your silence tells me everything I need to know. I'm all for giving the coaching job to Leslie Frazier, but you do you think it was right to fire Brad Childress because he wanted to dump Randy Moss? I mean, have you seen him in Tennessee?

ZW: ...

MM: Good point, nobody has seen Randy play in Tennessee! He's been a ghost down there. But this team has a lot of free agents. Who's the priority to resign? Greenway? Rice? Lieber? Edwards?

ZW: ...

MM: Well it's hard to make a priority when Childress was making the decisions. Who's making the decisions now? Rick Spielman?

ZW: ...

MM: I dunno, I'd just let Spielman do it. Besides, if there's a labor lockout you won't have to worry about the free agents anytime soon. Do you think there will be a lockout?

ZW: ...

MM: That wasn't a fair question, I know you can't publicly speak of these things. How about this. The Bears and Packers are in the playoffs and the Lions finished with a better record. Do you think this season was, at the very least, one step back to take two steps forward?

ZW: ...

MM: Well more importantly  is Joe Webb our future Quarterback? Do we draft one? Do we go after a Kevin Kolb or Donavon McNabb?

ZW: ...

MM: Don't give me that look. It's an honest question! I'm not pulling punches in these hard hitting interviews I conduct. So let me just get to what we all need to know. New stadium. How quickly do we need to get a deal done in our state's congress?

ZW: ...

MM: Fine, pass up the opportunity to make your case. We've talked about the Vikings problems enough, let me know something personally about you. Do you like the show Glee?

ZW: Never miss an episode!
